RIOT: Civil Unrest it was certainly an ambitious project, especially for a team consisting essentially of a couple of people who found themselves having to manage a title that seemed simple, but technically rather complex. ![]() Inevitably, the game made a lot of talk and quickly collected 240% of the required budget, also attracting the attention of the Italian publisher IV Productions, until development slowed down, the announcements and postponements followed one another and for a long time. ![]() It was the year 2013 when on Indiegogo, in full crowdfunding frenzy, RIOT (Civil Unrest was added only later) appeared, a really interesting project: conceived by the Italian Leonard Menchiari, defined as “riot simulator”, characterized by a eye-catching pixel art graphics with a development goal set at just $ 15,000.
